StaceyAnn Chin

Jamaican-born Staceyann Chin is an award-winning, internationally recognized poet and performer. Her one-woman shows – Hands Afire (2000), Unspeakable Things (2001), and Border/Clash (2005) – have received critical acclaim; her poetry has been frequently anthologized.  She has written for Essence, Jane, The New York Times and The South African Times, and published a memoir, The Other Side of Paradise, in 2009.  She is a sought-after speaker and performer, appearing at universities across the country and theatrical venues around the globe.
